Chief Secretary of Assam Paban Kumar Barthakur visits Sadiya

DOOMDOOMA: Chief Secretary of Assam Paban Kumar Barthakur inspected various development schemes being implemented by the State Government in Sadiya sub-division along with Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) in-charge (Civi) Madhurya Buragohain on Monday.

Chief Secretary Paban Kumar Barthakur had also interactions with the students of the various educational institutions in the conference hall of the SDO (Civil)’s office at Chapakhowa and wished them a bright future and gave various suggestions on education. He urged the students not to waste their time and engage themselves in their studies.

Earlier, the Chief Secretary visited the historical Kechai Khaiti Gosani Shal, Burha-Burhi Shal in Sadiya and held a discussion with the office bearers of the management committees of the historically famous Burha-Burhi Shal regarding the development works of the shal. The students were present at the exchange of views programme with Superintendent of Police (SP) Mrinal Deka, Executive Magistrate Priyamjyoti Phukan and Principal in-charge of Sadiya Higher Secondary School Jatin Gogoi.
