Children Book Fair Utsav under way at Bokota

DEMOW: Under the patronage of Aadhyan Chakra, Bokota and in association with the local people, the Children (Sishu) Book Fair Utsav, 2021 got under way in the Mohkhuti Bazaar House premises from December 23 for three days.

On the first day, the programme started with flag hoisting by Udit Barua, president of Aadhyan Chakra Bokota. The smriti tarpan was offered by Dhiren Saikia, president of the organizing committee. The saplings were planted by Purananda Gharphalia, working president of the organizing committee. The book fair was inaugurated by Arun Barua, Professor of Political Science in Moran Women College.

News writing workshop, along with other programmes, was organized on December 23. On Friday, drawing competition, workshops and cultural programmes were organized. The Children Book Fair Utsav will conclude on Saturday.
