Chirang DC Gautam Talukdar forms teams for addressing COVID-related issues

KOKRAJHAR: As a part of its initiative to contain the alarming surge in COVID-19 cases in the district, the Deputy Commissioner and chairman, District Disaster Management Authority, Gautam Talukdar on Wednesday formed police station-wise teams at all seven police station areas of the district.

In this connection, he issued a public notice forming seven teams involving one each executive magistrate, officer in-charge of police station and medical officer to address the grievances of the common citizens as well as the patients being treated at home isolation. The notice further appeared requesting all citizens to maintain COVID appropriate behavior like frequent hand washing, use of mask, use of hand sanitizer and maintaining social distancing.
