Chirang district administration introduces UMANG mobile platform

Bongaigaon/Kokrajhar: As desired by the Government of India, the Chirang district administration has introduced UMANG (Unified Mobile New-age Government) mobile platform along with existing e-district portal for providing easy access to the citizens for various services.

The Deputy Commissioner of Chirang on Tuesday declared introduction of UMANG mobile platform here in his office as an alternative channel to e-district for giving digital services to the citizens. He informed the citizens that any person could now apply for the services of Next of Kin certificate, permission for delayed birth certificate, permission for delayed death certificate, Non-creamy layer Certificate and Permanent Resident Certificate through this UMANG mobile platform without visiting Public Facilitation Centres (PFC) and Common Service Centres (CSC) in different locations of the district.
