Christmas carol procession in Udalguri

UDALGURI: Gideon International in India, Udalguri camp, took out a Christmas carol procession throughout Udalguri town, wishing peace and prosperity to all. A prayer session was conducted at Golmagaon High School field where Prodeep Kumar Daimary and Prasenjit Khakhlari anchored the session.. Dipak Deshmukh prayed in Hindi, Dr. Premtush Murmu in Santhali and Pastor Rabi Lama in Nepali.

Rev. Sushil Daimari, the executive secretary of Boro Baptist Convention, gave a sermon on peace. Devotees took out a procession with candles and sang carols. The procession was flagged off by Baidyanath Upadhyaya, the acting president of Udalguri Press Club.
