CID continues probe on railway employee's property, assets

BARPETA: CID's search operation in Railway Grade III worker Devaraj Das' property continues. Das was involved in the SI recruitment scam and on October 10, more than Rs 1.83 crore was recovered from his house. CID's search operation continues. The CID sleuths took Devaraj Das' wife, Tulika Barman to different banks. They recovered Rs 46.77 lakh and 920 gram gold from a locker in the name of Tulika Barman in Bank of Baroda. The market value of the gold is Rs 45.60 lakh. There are several bank accounts in the name of his wife in different banks in Barpeta. During interrogation, Devaraj Das confessed about his properties in Guwahati. In Narikal Basti he has a plot of land worth crores of rupees. He also has a luxurious flat at Pub Sarania, Guwahati.
