Civic action programme conducted by 149 Bn CRPF Joysagar, Sivasagar

DEMOW: A Civic Action Programme (CAP) was conducted by 149 Bn CRPF Joysagar, Sivasagar at Demow Girls' High School on Saturday.

On the occasion, Amitabh Sinha, Superintendent of Police of Sivasagar district, inaugurated the girls' toilet block at Demow Girls' High School in the presence of JV Tusing, Commandant-149 Bn CRPF, PK Sahoo, 2-I/C, second-in-command, JP Yadav, Deputy Commandant and other dignitaries.

Welfare of the student community being a vital part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of the CRPF, 149 Bn CRPF, Sivasagar, renovated one girls' toilet block with provision of floor tiles and provided of running water facility with water storage tank, water pump, pipe and water taps at Demow Girls' High School. After that a meeting was organized in the auditorium of Demow Girls' High School where Amitabh Sinha, Superintendant of Police of Sivasagar district, JP Yadav, Deputy Commandant, JV Tusing, Commandant-149 Bn CRPF, and PK Sahoo were felicitated with a phulam gamosa and a japi by Demow Girls' High School in the programme on Saturday. A Bihu dance was performed by the students of Demow Girls' High School on the occasion.
