GUWAHATI: It is truly said
that 'necessity is the mother of all inventions.' What better example could be
then, a class IX student prodigy from Assam's Lakhimpur district, converting
his simple bicycle into a functional motorbike so that he does not have to
paddle it anymore.
This extraordinary feat was achieved by a young Lakhimpur boy from Assam who has successfully converted his bicycle to a motorbike. The prodigal Dimpal Sarma is a simple class IX student from Dhakuakhana who has succeeded in installing an electric run motor on his basic bicycle that turns it into a motorbike.
The little engineering genius Dimpal has successfully achieved his dream through sheer perseverance and now he is able to ride his basic bicycle like a motorbike, surprising many.
"Since acquiring success in placing a motor on my bicycle, I do not need to pedal it anymore in order to ride it," an enthusiastic Dimple boy told to media. He further added that people could ride the bike at a cheap cost without the use of petrol or any other fuel and can achieve speed up to 15-20 km per hour.
"Now, we have seen that prices of diesel and petrol are skyrocketing and that has pinched the pockets of people dearly. My bicycle could help save money and also emits no pollution as it is a totally green energy-based concept. One can ride this bike up to 40-45 km at one charge with a meager average cost of just Rs 3-4," he said further confidently.
It may be mentioned that Dimple is also a meritorious student and according to his neighbors he has always had innovative thinking and since his childhood, he would often tinker around with motors and other electrical and electronic machines and devices.
With such kind of innovative engineering and taking green energy into consideration, Dimple is doing a phenomenal work in the path of empowering rural Assam through energy conservation and lowering carbon footprint in the natural ecological system. Also Watch:
