Classes up to VIII closed in Nagaon district due to COVID-19

NAGAON: As the number of COVID-19 cases has increased, the Nagaon district administration on Monday asked all government and private schools to close normal classes up to Class VIII.

The order will be reviewed if any there is improvement in the daily average across the district next week.

Of the 516 active COVID-19 cases in the district, as many as 287 patients are in home isolation, state official data.
