Cleanliness drive on World Environment Day by 142 Bn CRPF of Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The 142 Battalion, CRPF, Jonakinagar of Golaghat district observed the World Environment Day on Wednesday on headquarters camp premises.

On this occasion Om Prakash, Commandant -142 Bn, Ratul Das and Neraj Kumar Singh second-in-command, Ravinder Baghel, Assistant Commandant as well as subordinate officers and personnel of 142 Bn CRPF carried out a cleanliness drive. They got their message on the harmful effects of polythene across society. They emphasized protection of natural wealth and delivered lecture on judicious use of available natural resources. A plantation drive was also organized at Jonakinagar where fifty saplings were planted. They also took a pledge to conserve and protect the environment.
