Dibrugarh: The year-long golden jubilee celebrations of All India Radio (AIR), Dibrugarh will draw a close with a closing ceremony scheduled for February 13, February 14 and February 15. On the first day of the ceremony, a Sanmilan will be organized which is expected to be attended by the past and present staff of the organization.

Several retired past employees associated with the organization have already confirmed their participation. February 14 will witness a speech event from 4 pm. The topic will be ‘Broadcasting on the New Vistas: Challenges and Opportunities’.

The final competition of the ongoing JJM Hospital Loksangeet Maduri and prize distribution ceremony will be held on the same day in the evening. The last day of the closing ceremony will be marked with open meeting and cultural event. On the occasion, songs across many languages, including Assamese, Mising, Deuri, Singfou, Hindi and English, will be performed.
