CM calls on Governor; discusses development initiatives

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday called on Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at Raj Bhavan and held discussion on several issues concerning state's development.

The duo discussed issues of the State concerning development initiatives of the government including education. Moreover, the Chief Minister also apprised the Governor of schemes that the government is taking for the welfare of all sections of the people of the state. The Chief Minister and Governor also discussed on some of the activities particularly concerning the Raj Bhavan, stated a press release.
