CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Biswanath district on September 29

BISWANATH CHARIALI: After becoming the Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma will attend a series of programmes on September 29 for the first time in Behali and Gohpur LACs respectively, in Biswanath district.

Sarma will visit the historical Gangmou Than at Behali and then inspect the erosion-affected areas at Batiamari. Later, he will proceed to Gohpur where the Chief Minister is to pay homage to martyrs Kanaklata Baruah and Muhkunda Kakati. He will visit the Kalyani (Gambhar) Temple, Dipora where renovation work has been going on and also inaugurate the Ghahigaon-Mail Bazar connecting Swahid Mukunda Kakati Road constructed under Signature Project, among other programmes.
