DIBRUGARH: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Khanikar field for the second time on Monday to review the final preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Dibrugarh on April 28.
Speaking to reporters, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "The final preparations are done for PM Narendra Modi's visit to Khanikar. Our party workers are working hard to make the programme successful. On April 28, PM Narendra Modi will inaugurate the cancer hospital in Dibrugarh. The cancer hospital will be the most advanced cancer hospital in Northeast India having modern technology."
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday held a meeting in Dibrugarh to review the final preparations for PM Narendra Modi's visit. Within a day, for the second time the Chief Minister visited Khanikar field to review the final preparations ahead of PM Modi's visit.
Meanwhile, the Dibrugarh district administration has been working in tandem to make the visit a successful one.
State Ministers, Atul Bora, Ajanta Neog, Bimal Borah, Sanjay Kisan, MLAs Prashanta Phukan, Chakradhar Gogoi and other state leaders, Special DGP GP Singh, senior police officials, Dibrugarh DC & SP and other officers were present during his visit.
