Committee of Lakhimpur district chapter of Indian Red Cross Society constituted

LAKHIMPUR: The Managing Committee of the Lakhimpur district chapter of Indian Red Cross Society was constituted on Tuesday as per instruction issued by the Deputy Commissioner. On this occasion, a general meeting of the Red Cross Society was organized in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office. The meeting was presided over by ADC Geetali Duworah on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner.

In the meeting, the Lakhimpur District Managing Committee of Indian Red Cross Society was constituted with Charu Borah as vice-president, Rajesh Malpani as chairman, Kula Nath Bhorali as vice-chairman, Rajiv Sarmah as general secretary. The Deputy Commissioner of the district concerned acts as the president of the said committee as per rules framed by Indian Red Cross Society.
