Communist Party of India (M) stages protest against price rise in Doomdooma

DOOMDOOMA: In response to the call by the Communist Party of India (Marxist) to protest all over the State against rise in prices of petrol, diesel and other essential goods, the CPI (M) Doomdooma local committee staged protest at Gandhi Mandap in the heart of the town on Thursday by observing COVID protocol. They displayed banners and shouted slogans against price rise which had made lives of people miserable, especially when they were already suffering due to the COVID pandemic. Braving inclement weather and rain, protesters observed the programme for about three hours.
