Congress candidate Abdur Rahim Ahmed wins Barpeta LAC

BARPETA: In Barpeta LAC, Congress candidate Abdur Rahim Ahmed defeated his nearest rival AGP candidate Gunindra Nath Das by a margin of 44,094 votes.

In Sarbhog LAC, CPI (M) candidate Manoranjan Talukdar defeated his rival by a margin of 10,283 votes. In Jania LAC, AIUDF candidate Dr Hafiz Rafiqul Hussain defeated his nearest rival BJP candidate Shahidul Islam. In Baghbar LAC, Sherman Ali defeated Rajiv Ahmed by a margin of 14,000 votes.

In Sarukshetri LAC, Congress candidate Jakir Hussain Sikdar won by a margin of 29,397 votes. In Chenga LAC, Ashraful Hussain (AIUDF) was defeated by a margin of 50,910 votes.
