BAKSA: The dreaded COVID-19 transmission continues in 15 districts within the entire state. Various parts of Tamulpur subdivision among these 15 districts have been identified as red zone by the State health department.

COVID transmission has increased in various places, including Tamulpur subdivision town, Nagrijuli, Kumarikata, Kachukata and Gandhibari. The Tamulpur subdivision administration has taken necessary measures to control the transmission of COVID-19 in Tamulpur subdivision. As part of this, sanitization was done in many places, including Matanga Chowk, Ghogra Chowk, Tamulpur Puran Chowk, Kumarikata and Gandhibari under Tamulpur subdivision in Baksa district on Saturday under the supervision of Subdivisional Officer (Civil) of Tamulpur, Dr Bedang Talukdar.

Dr. Bedang Talukdar also urged the people to wear masks, follow social distancing and not come out unnecessarily. Tamulpur subdivision administration on Saturday declared No. 1 Bagrikhuti No. 2 Bagrikhuti in Nagrijuli and Dakhin Gandhibari as micro containment zone.
