COVID death in Gaurisagar in Sivasagar district

GAURISAGAR: Bhaskarjyoti (Mintu) Phukan (40), a small businessman of Phukanphadia Bezgaon, Gaurisagar on the outskirts of Gaurisagar Block PHC in Sivasagar district, died on Sunday due to COVID-19.

According to report he had been suffering from fever and influenza. Due to respiratory problem he was admitted to Sibsagar Civil Hospital on Saturday but he breathed his last on Sunday morning in the hospital. He is survived by his parents, pregnant wife and a 10-year old girl.
