COVID Pandemic: Tezpur LP Teachers' Association to Donate CM's Relief Fund

JAMUGURIHAT: The LP Teachers' Association of Tezpur subdivision has decided to donate one- day's salary of its members to the CM's Relief Fund to combat the COVID pandemic situation, stated Jyoti Bhattacharya and Abani Kumar Bora, president and secretary of the teachers' association in a press release.

The statement further added that all the teachers under the umbrella of Tezpur subdivision LP Teachers' Association, including four educational blocks Naduar, Balipara, Gabharu and Dkekiajuli, unanimously agreed to pay the amount from the salary of the month of May. The association has decided to credit the amount directly to the CM's Relief Fund through the Treasury Office, Tezpur.
