Covid positive cases cross 500 in Cachar district

SILCHAR: On Thursday number of Covid-19 patients in Cachar district crossed 500 marks in last 28 days. In last 24 hours, 35 persons tested Covid positive taking the total number to 514 in the current month. Presently number of active patients in the district is 195. A covid patient of Silchar had expired last week at a Guwahati hospital. In Hailakandi, number of Covid patients crossed 100 marks on Wednesday. Ruling out the apprehension of another wave of pandemic, the health officials however advised to abide by the general Covid protocol.
