COVID warrior allegedly brutally attacked by two miscreants in Bongaigaon

BONGAIGAON: A COVID warrior was allegedly brutally attacked by two miscreants. The incident took place in the Borpara area of Bongaigaon where Dimple Medhi, in-charge of a quarantine centre, was allegedly brutally attacked by two persons.

Dimple said that Dipak Ray and Bhupen Medhi from Borpara had attacked her. "Last night while I was at home, both entered my residential campus and attacked me with sharp weapons. I somehow saved myself but was seriously injured. I have lodged an FIR at Bongaigaon PS in this regard," she said. Police picked up both the accused. Police have registered a case and started investigation. The cause behind the attack is suspected to be personal.
