CPI, Morigaon Zila Parishad organized discussion on present political situation

MORIGAON: A public discussion on present political situation was organized by the CPI, Morigaon Zila Parishad supported by Anchalik Gana Morcha at Bihutoli ground on Wednesday.

The meeting discussed about the future of secular political power and its function. Under president ship of veteran CPI leader Munin Mahanta, the meeting was organized here. Attending as the chief guest, Rajya Sabha member Ajit Bhuyan criticized the BJP's economic policy and asked people to unite against the government. He also said, "An alternative, secular political party needs to drive out the present government in the State." The meeting was also attended by senior journalist Manjit Mahanta. More than 300 people took part in the meeting.
