Criminal Investigation Department Assam to probe SI Junmoni Rabha’s death

GUWAHATI: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Assam will investigate the case registered at North Lakhimpur PS u/s 120-B, 395, 397, 342, 387 on May 15, 2023 based on an FIR lodged. SI Junmoni Rabha has been mentioned as an accused in the FIR. In addition, the CID will also investigate the death of SI Junmoni Rabha in a road accident on May 16. This was informed by Assam Director General of Police (DGP) GP Singh in a tweet.
