CRPF conducts plantation drive in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: In connection with 19th foundation day of 171 Battalion of CRPF, a plantation drive was carried out by the Battalion at Police reserve in Dibrugarh on Monday. Students from various schools participated in the plantation programme and expressed their happiness. On August 9, the CRPF 171 Battalion will be celebrating their 19th Foundation Day. In connection with the foundation day, the battalion have taken various programme in their hands. CRPF DIG Rajiv Ranjan participated in the plantation programme and encouraged the school students.

DIG said the plantation drive would help to provide a good environment for our next generation to a great extent. The 171 Battalion of CRPF has decided to plant 15 lakh saplings in coming days. 171 Bn CRPF Commanding Officer Samir Srivastav was present during the plantation drive at Police reserve.
