CRPF distributes sports items among children in Kokrajhar district

Kokrajhar: The 129 Bn CRPF on Saturday distributed sports items in Salakati High School in Kokrajhar district.

Tanveer Jamal, Deputy Commandant, subordinate officers and jawans, Headmaster of Salakati High School, Amarendra Devnath, teachers and students as well as local populace were present on the occasion.

The 129 Bn CRPF organizes many activities under the civic action programme to connect local youths with CRPF. The free distribution of sports items was one such welfare programme.

During the distribution of sports items, Shiv Kumar Jha, 2 IC wished a bright future to all children. They were also encouraged to join the armed forces.
