CRPF IGP Prakash D visits 129 Bn CRPF Kokrajhar to take stock of health and hygiene

Kokrajhar: Prakash D (IPS), IGP CRPF, NES visited 129 Bn CRPF at Kokrajhar on Friday. Sources from CRPF said he was welcomed by Shiv Kumar Jha, Second-in-Command, 129 Bn CRPF along with Subodh Kumar, Dy. Comdt. and Tanveer Jamal, Dy.Comdt. The IGP firstly inspected the Quarter Guard and appreciated the turnout and drill of the guards. After that, he visited other institutions of the camp. The IGP had a meeting with officers of 129 Bn CRPF and Cobra Bn in which operations and law and order situation and deployment of companies in the district were discussed.

During the Sainik Sammelan organized in Bn with officers, subordinate officers & jawans of 129 Bn CRPF, they discussed the operational activities and law and order duties being performed by 129 Bn CRPF in Kokrajhar. He briefed all ranks about discipline, camp security, health awareness, hygiene and sanitation and reducing mental stress. He congratulated troops for their outstanding performance during different law and order duties. He also appreciated officers of 129 Bn CRPF for their praiseworthy work during the floods. He awarded a commendation letter to Shiv Kumar Jha, 2-I/C, Tanveer Jamal, Dy. Comdt. and Rajneesh Kumar Pathak, Dy. Comdt.
