CRPF personnel commits suicide in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: A 56-year-old personnel of the 25th Bn, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon on Thursday. He was deployed at ONGC's Rudrasagar Oil Field in Sivasagar. The deceased CRPF personnel was identified as Prabin Gogoi, a native of Tengapukhuri near Mathurapur in Charaideo district. He allegedly shot himself with his weapon at his residence. He sustained a bullet injury and was rushed to Sivasagar Civil Hospital by his brother, where he was declared brought dead. He is survived by his wife and a son.
