To prevent the spikes of COVID-19 and increase the oxygen level in the environment, the Namrup based CRPF C/171 battalion carried out a plantation drive at Namrup Dilli Duwonia Public High School campus and several other places on Sunday.

DIBRUGARH: To prevent the spikes of COVID-19 and increase the oxygen level in the environment, the Namrup based CRPF C/171 battalion carried out a plantation drive at Namrup Dilli Duwonia Public High School campus and several other places on Sunday. The plantation drive was led by Assistant commandant Trilochan Behera C/171 BN CRPF. "Our primary aim is to prevent pollution and increase the level of oxygen which is very necessary to fight against COVID-19," said Behera.

Gaon Bura (Village Head) of Dilli Duwonia Gaon, Suresh Gogoi said, "We appreciate the work done by CRPF in our locality." More than 400 herbal, fruits and other saplings were planted at the campus of DD Public School during the drive.
