KOKRAJHAR: A crucial meeting of the Indigenous Tribal Sahitya Sabha, Assam (ITSSA) will be held at the Bodo Socio-Cultural Centre, Rupnath Brahma ISBT, Gorchuk in Guwahati on November 8 to discuss at length the move of the Government of Assam to grant ST status to the six communities of Assam. The general secretary of the ITSSA, Kamala Kanta Mashahary said the meeting would be very crucial for the indigenous tribal people as they would discuss the government's move to include six advanced communities in the ST list. He said the Tribal Sahitya Sabha would also discuss the issue of Bhasa Gaurav Achani, publication of multilingual dictionary, financial aid to tribal writers and financial assistance to the Tribal Sahitya Sabha platform for literary activities.
