DEMOW: Amidst the protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and with one day left for Magh Bihu or Bhogali Bihu, people were seen preparing for Magh Bihu in Demow and its surrounding areas on Monday. Rubul Kalita, a resident of Saragua Adarsha Kalita Gaon near Demow, is preparing curd for Magh Bihu. Rubul Kalita is in this business for the last 20 years and the curd is sent to various places of the State. The rate of the curd starts from Rs.200 up to Rs.500. On the other hand, the bhelaghars have been made ahead of Magh Bihu.
