Cycle rally 'Fridays for Future' held at Biswanath Chariali

BISWANATH CHARIALI: In response to the call of 'Fridays for Future', Guwahati, an awareness cycle rally was organized on Sunday at the initiative of Lets Pedal, Bishwanath Chariali with a concern over the exploitation of Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary and Baghjan OIL disaster. The cycle rally started from the vicinity of Binapani Natya Mandir, here holding placards for protection of biodiversity, protection of Dehing Patkai etc in compliance with the protocols of COVID-19. It should be noted that Lets Pedal has already carried out various awareness and campaign programmes. Lachit Saikia, Nihar Saikia, Nayan Gogoi, Ryan Borah, Partha Pratim Bhumij, Bhuchitra Dadharai etc participated in the cycle rally led by Snehankar.
