Dacoit Kasem Ali arrested under Borghat OP in Sonitpur District

TEZPUR: Acting on tip off, a team of Tezpur Police on Saturday night arrested a wanted-dreaded dacoit from Pumpani area under Borghat OP in Sonitpur District and also recovered arms and stolen items from his possession. The operation was led by Additional SP Numal Mahatta and accompanied by DSP Dr Rashmi Rekha Sharma and other staff. The arrested person has been identified as Kasem Ali, resident of Borghat area. A case has been registered vide Tezpur PS case No 1046/2020 under section 392 IPC.
