Darrang District Institute of Education and Training gets ODOGC Award

MANGALDAI: District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Darrang has been awarded the 'One District One Green Champion' (ODOGC) award on Swacchta Action Plan under Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education (MGNCRE) of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Darrang Deputy Commissioner Prabhati Thaosen on Wednesday, taking part as the chief guest in a virtual workshop for Principals of colleges and Higher Secondary Schools and faculties, gave away the award to Madhab Sarma, Principal of DIET, Darrang, in virtual presence of Project Coordinator VR Reddy. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education) Pallabi Kachari and Inspector of Schools Prabhat Das also attended the virtual workshop.
