Darrang: Doctor donates building to Prajapita Iswariya Viswavidyalaya
MANGALDAI: Extending a positive and exceptional response to the worldwide divine service like meditation for peace, hope for the world, wisdom for life and the discovery of spirituality as a way of life initiated by Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Viswavidyalaya, Dr. Ramesh Goswami, a social activist and the officiating Joint Director of Health Services, Darrang today donated the well furnished and well decorated third and fourth floor of his residential building at Deomornoi near here today to the Viswavidyalaya. The Viswavidyalaya authority today organized a ‘Divine Union’ function at the Mini Stadium Complex at Deomornoi, attended by a large numbers of followers, well wishers and people of the locality.
In the function, Dr Ramesh Goswami and his wife Hemalata Devi Goswami formally donated the building to the Viswavidyalaya. The Viswavidyalaya authority also conferred hearty felicitation on donor Dr Ramesh Goswami and his wife Hemalata Devi Goswami for their generosity.
Earlier, the flag of the Viswavidyalaya was hoisted by Brahma Kumaris in presence of former legislator of Mangaldai, Guru Jyoti Das. Raj Yogini Brahma Kumari Jonali Behenji, taking part in the function, delivered a very thought provoking and impressive speech on moral values, ethics and spirituality based on traditional cultural and spiritual heritage of India. Brahma Kumar Ramesh Bhaiji coming from the Viswavidyalaya Headquarters at Mount Abu also joined the function as the chief guest.
Senior Lawyer Premeswar Sarma, Industrialist Rajib Kumar Deka of SRD Group of Industries and Superintendent of Mangaldai Jail Kalyan Choudhury also attended the function anchored by Brahma Kumari Sharada Behenji of Guwahati.
