Darrang Photography Society organized All Assam Outdoor Photography Exhibition

MANGALDAI: In their second year’s initiative in providing exposure to the photographers and to create an atmosphere to involve the interested budding talents in photography, Darrang Photography Society (DPS) successfully organized second All Assam Outdoor Photography Exhibition titled ‘Infinity 2.0’ on Saturday and Sunday evening here on the lush green lawn on the eastern bank of river Mangaldai at Sanatan Dharma Sabha complex evoking a good response from the photography lovers. The two days exhibition witnessed display of altogether 136 photographs of different subjects like landscape, portrait, street, astro, wildlife etc clicked by as many as 86 photographers across the State irrespective of age, gender and profession which included national and internationally acclaimed photographers like Nejib Ahmed, Gautam Deka, senior IPS officer Vivek Raj Singh, young IAS officer Shristi Singh and others . An on the spot photography competition was also to mark the occasion. Earlier pioneer in photography in Darrang district Chandra Sekhar Roy alias Babul Roy ceremonially inaugurated the exhibition.
