MANGALDAI: The Darrang police reiterating its commitment towards its own men of all ranks and their families by felicitating the meritorious children of police personnel for their performance in the HSLC and HSSLC examination, 2022 at a function at the Police Reserve here on Saturday.

HSLC (2020) and HSSLC topper in Science and the pride of Darrang Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita, 8th rank holder in Arts Dikshita Saharia and other rank holders were felicitated on the occasion.

Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Western Range, Brajenjit Singha, who attended the function as the chief guest, felicitated and congratulated the students for their achievement. Superintendent of Police Raj Mohan Ray, taking part in the felicitation function, appealed to the rank holders and other achievers to offer their service towards the society from their respective fields of work.

Dhritiraj Bastav Kalita, who created a rare record by claiming top rank in both the HSLC examination 2020 and HSSLC examination 2022, in his speech narrated his preparedness for both the examinations and expressed his gratitude to the Darrang police for the hearty felicitation.

Mediaperson Bhargab Kumar Das also addressed the function, which was attended by Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ) Rupam Phukan, Officer in-Charge of the Mangaldai Police Station Inspector Mukut Kakati, entrepreneur of repute Siddhartha Barua and parents of all the rank holders.
