Day care centre building inaugurated at DHS Kanoi College in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: The newly-constructed ‘Day Care Centre’ building was inaugurated by A.Baruah, GB president of DHS Kanoi College, at the historic DHS Kanoi College premises on Tuesday. In his inaugural address, he said that the day care centre was a new addition to the development of the college under the leadership of the Principal of DHS Kanoi College, Dr Sashikanta Saikia.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Principal of the College and he said the day care centre would fulfil all the requirements and serve the college fraternity along with the general public.

Professor Dr. Jyoti Prasad Phukan, co-ordinator of the Day Care Centre, said that the Day Care Centre would fulfil a long-standing need of the college. The event was attended by prominent dancer Uday Sankar who thanked the Principal and the college fraternity for constructing the day care centre in a state-of-the-art manner for the convenience of the children.
