DC Aditya Vikram Yadav inspects storm-affected areas in Sivasagar district

SIVASAGAR: A strong storm had caused widespread damage in Sivasagar district a few days ago. In view of this, Sivasagsr Deputy Commissioner Aditya Vikram Yadav had been inspecting the storm-hit areas of Sivasagar district along with concerned circle officer and departmental authorities to take stock of the post storm situation in these areas.

The DC visited various storm-affected areas under Demow Revenue Circle to take stock of the situation. During his visit, the DC met people and interacted with them to assess the damage caused to their properties.

The DC also visited households of Namtial Pathar, Nowjan, No. 2 Konwar, Changmai Gaon and Konwamora Handique village under Sivasagar Revenue Circle whose houses were damaged by the storm, to extend the immediate support. He provided them with tarpaulin as immediate relief to have a shed overhead and assured all possible help on behalf of the administration.

Meanwhile, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner Karmadev Brahma inspected the storm-affected areas of Borpatra Dol, Kaloogaon, Bharaluwa, Kukurachowa, Julagaon, Abhoipuria, Barahibari under Amguri Revenue Circle and interacted with several families and directed the departmental authorities to take measures to eradicate the problems faced by the people.
