DC Narsing Pawar Flagged off 7th Economic Census in Sonitpur District

Tezpur: Deputy Commissioner Narsing Pawar flagged off the 7th Economic Census in Sonitpur district in a meeting held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Monday. The 7th Economic Census is being conducted by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation ( MoSPI) in the district simultaneously with the rest of the country. During the census, a door-to-door survey of all households and commercial establishments will be conducted on a mobile application developed for data capture, validation, report generation, and dissemination.
