HAFLONG: Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed appealed to make Dima Hasao safe by maintaining COVID-19 protocol and also shared the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) latest guidelines issued on February 14 based on the overall improved COVID scenario in the State recently. The new order is in force from February 15, 2022 until further orders.
Briefing about the updates of the vaccination status, the Deputy Commissioner stated that ex-gratia of Rs. 50000 has been paid to 30 NOK (next of kin) of people who died of COVID. Five applications have been forwarded to the District Grievance Redressal Committee for inclusion of the names of dead persons due to COVID in the district COVID-19 death record for release of ex-gratia payment. Names of two applicants have been added in the district death record as per State Death Audit Board. Under the CM Widow Support Scheme, financial assistance has been provided to four beneficiaries.
Under the Prarthana Scheme, financial assistance has been provided to 10 beneficiaries at Rs. 1, 00,000 per beneficiary. With regard to vaccination, 1, 36,838 persons under the age group from 15-18 years have been vaccinated.
