DDCC senior vice president Bhola Nath Sur passes away at Bansbari

Dibrugarh: Senior vice president of Dibrugarh District Congress Committee (DDCC), and a life member of Indian Red Cross Society, Bhola Nath Sur passed away at 12.50 at his own residence here at Bansbari on Friday. He was 90.

One of the oldest Pharmacists of the region who started his medicine business in 1952, Sur is survived by two sons Sanjib Sur and Samir Sur, family members and a large number of his admirers.

An ardent social activist, Bhola Nath Sur was the founder secretary of Santipara Lower Primary and Middle English Bengali High School. He was closely associated with various social organizations

His death was widely condoled by the various apex social organizations and people from different walks of life in general and members of Dibrugarh District Congress Committee in particular.
