DDRC camps to be held on 5th of every month in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: The monthly camps for issuance of disability certificates at the District Disability Rehabilitation Centre in Sonitpur will now be additionally held on the fifth of every month in the Sonitpur district.

As per a decision taken in a meeting held at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur regarding offline counseling process for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) category for admission into MBBS/BDS, etc., it was decided that the DDRC camps for issuance of disability certificates will now be additionally held on the 5th of every month in addition to the previous dates of 12th and 27th day of each month. Necessary steps have been taken in this connection to identify and depute doctors for the camps so that the process of identification and certification of disability can be expedited.
