Death anniversary of an academician, social worker and journalist Om Prakash Todi observed

DHUBRI: The fourth death anniversary of an academician, social worker and journalist Om Prakash Todi, was observed with a day-long programme. It was organized under the auspices of Om Prakash Todi Smriti Udjapan Samiti at Dhubri Lions Club Service Centre auditorium on Tuesday. The day-long programmes included heritage walk with students of schools and colleges, memorial meet, distribution of prizes of essay competitions on various burning problems and issues held on October 8, and distribution of neem seedlings among the students. The memorial meeting was presided over by the president of Smriti Udjapan Samiti, Dr. Pratima Neogi while Executive Editor of Purvanchal Prahari, Baisistha Narayan Pathak, academician, Binod Jyotshi, and an eminent social worker, Suresh Harlalka spoke at a length on the life and activities of Todi.
