Death anniversary of Gajen Baruah to be celebrated at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: Sonit Konwar Gajen Baruah, a master of music and drama, propagator of historic Barechahar Bhaona, companion of Jyoti-Bishnu will be remembered on his death anniversary on January 21 at Jamugurihat. In this connection, a memorial meeting will be held at the Barechahariya Bhaon project site. The memorial meeting will be held as per COVID protocol, stated a press release issued by Golap Kalita, president, Ranjit Borthaku, working president, Ranjan Das and Presab Kalita; secretaries of Sonitkonwar Gajen Baruah death anniversary committee.
