Debajit Gogoi gets poetry award at Guwahati Press Club

DEMOW: The All Assam Cultural Unity Union (AACUU) organized the 12th NEBCUS Media Awards 2020 programme at Guwahati Press Club on September 1 where Debajit Gogoi, a resident of Sepon Tifuk Gaon near Demow of Charaideo District received the Best Popular Poet (Sainik) and Kabya Mukuta awards and brought laurels to the area. Sri Sri Janardan Deva Goswami, Xattadhikar of Dakshinpat Xatra was present in the programme as special chief guest. Sri Sri Janardan Deva Goswami, Xatadhikar of Dakshinpat Xatra handed over both the Best Popular Poet (Sainik) and Kabya Mukuta awards to Debajit Gogoi at Guwahati Press Club on September 1. The awards carry a gamosa, a medal and a certificate. In the programme, the dignitaries from various fields were present. Debajit Gogoi works in defense and during the time of college Debajit Gogoi is interested in writing.
