Delegation of AXX Chah Janagosthiya Bhasa visits anti-CAA martyr Ishwar Nayak house

UDALGURI: A delegation of Axom Xahitya Xabha Chah Janagosthiya Bhasa Sanskriti sub-committee visited the house of Ishwar Nayak at Majuli Tea Estate.

Ishwar Nayak was injured in police firing during an anti-CAA protest in Guwahati recently. He later succumbed to his injuries. The delegation consoled his family members and said that he should be given the status of martyr and a martyr’s tomb should be constructed at his native place and also in Guwahati where he died. The team was headed by Sanjay Tanti and included Rajen Rabidas, Kushal Bora and Yadav Sarma.
