Demand for more coaches in the Dimapur- Mariani 55903 and 55904 passenger train under Tinsukia division

MERAPANI: More coaches have been demand in the Dimapur- Mariani 55903 and 55904 passenger train under Tinsukia division.

Although the train travels a long distance between Dimapur and Mariani town via Furkating Jn, it fails to fulfil the demands of passengers. While the number of passengers has increased, the railways authority has not added more coaches to the passenger train and it has only five coaches.

Passengers have also alleged that the train does not have a proper security system due to which some people occupy the seats and compartments as per their will. Conscious citizens, as well as the Golaghat Zila Sangbadik Suraksha Mancha and Furkating Anchalik Santha, have urged the railways authority to add more coaches in the train.
