Demand to declare Doomdooma as subdivision

DOOMDOOMA: Demanding the government to declare Doomdooma as a subdivision, to solve the flood and erosion problem of greater Kordoiguri area under Doomdooma Revenue Circle, to provincialize the Science stream of Doomdooma College, to set up an institution of technical education at Doomdooma, to set up a hospital in Kordoiguri, to set up a law college and a women's college at Doomdooma, to provincialize Doomdooma Junior College and to set up a blood bank at Doomdooma, the Doomdooma and Talap - Kordoiguri units of Asom Moran Sabha, All Moran Students' Union, Moran Jatiya Mohila Parishad and Moran Kola - Kristi Bikash Kendra staged a three hour sit-in at Doomdooma town on Friday. Later, the organizations sent separate memoranda to the Chief Minister, Finance Minister and Water Resource Minister of Assam through the Circle Officer of Doomdooma Revenue Circle.
