DEMOW: The results of the HSLC and AHM Examination, 2020 were declared on Saturday.

Hem Chandra Borgohain Model English School registered 100 per cent pass percentage. Debasish Konwar, a student of the school, secured 100 marks in General Mathematics and among the 15 students who had appeared for the exam, four students secured star marks, 11 students secured first division and four students got second division.

St Mary's School also registered 100 percent pass percentage. A total of 19 students appeared and Rajdeep Sharma of the school secured 90.6 per cent and became the topper in the school.

In Demow Higher Secondary School, four students secured star marks, 10 students secured first division, 27 secured second division and 9 students secured third division. In Lambudar Borgohain Sankardev Vidya Niketan, Demow, 10 students secured distinction marks, 11 students secured star marks, 43 students secured first division with letter marks in different subjects, 19 students secured second division and 8 students secured third division.

In Sunny Rose English High School, two students secured star marks, 10 students secured first division and 6 students secured second division. In Palengi High School, three students secured distinction marks, three students secured star marks, 18 students secured first division, 51 students secured second division and 71 students secured third division.

Three students of Sivasagar district made it to the merit list. Sivasagar district also secured 83.92 pass percentage and topped in the district-wise performance report in the HSLC examination, 2020.
